"Overwrite permission denied"

I’ve had my account for a few weeks now (no complaints!) but today. when updating some files, I get “error 500 [filename] Overwrite permission denied.” Any idea why this might be? I can upload new files OK though.

OK, things are working normally again. The problem occurred while I was running a full spyware check with Spyware Doctor (evaluation edition). I wonder if that is why?
