OS 10.5 and crunch

#1

I’m having a problem connecting to crunch.dreamhost.com. I’ve been using the “Connect to server” function in the finder on Tiger without any problems, but ever since I upgraded to Leopard I keep getting an error message. I was able to connect on this same machine before I upgraded, and I am still able to connect to the crunch server using the Dreamweaver FTP on Leopard. I’ve tried everything I can think of to fix the problem and can’t find any mention of this being an issue in the wiki. Does anyone have any ideas? I’m getting tired of having to open Dreamweaver every time I want to move a file to my dreamhost account.

Thanks.

It’s because Leopard no longer permits non-secure AFP connections by default, but it can be overridden:
