Offering webmail to site visitors

design

#1

Hello,

I run a website for a student group at my university (http://hooked.org.au) and we’d like to be able to offer @hooked.org.au email addresses for our members. I know I can manually setup addresses for each member, but I was wondering if anyone knew of a way (a script or something) that would allow users to sign up via our website?

Any help would be much appreciated

Thanks

There is a way to do it, Lissa from lissaexplains.com does it, and she’s hosted with Dreamhost… as for what script she uses, I’m not sure, you could ask her.

You could try http://www.culymail.com/, but it costs around $50…

Her web site is hosted here, but her mail service is not. According to her site, You’ll get a free e-mail address, yourname@lissamail.com

$ host -t mx lissamail.com lissamail.com mail is handled by 20 lissamail-com-bk.mr.outblaze.com. lissamail.com mail is handled by 10 lissamail-com.mr.outblaze.com. Outblaze provides e-mail outsourcing services. The fact that they don’t have a price list online suggests that it’s pretty expensive.
