New site Q's not viewable

#1

Hi, yesterday I started setting up a new site.
and for some reason my friend can view the homepage, but I can’t I only see a parked message and have multiple times cleared my IE cache and temp files.

I copied the dream host nameservers over to the registrar I used. but didn’t copy the numbers.

All would be great,
this is the site

I’m thinking that the propagation isn’t finished yet?.

I’m not sure. But you can try to shut down and restart your router. If your friend is able to view the home page, I guess the new DNS is already available in the Internet. Your old one may be cached in your router.

The site is working for me in Australia, as the others suggested, it could be the new DNS address is still propagating, or the old DNS is cached on your router, or on your PC.

Nice and warm, in the middle of summer at the moment.

A simple reboot should do the trick if this is cause. As for clearing the cache on your PC, a reboot should do the trick there as well.

we’re just about to enter Spring here

I rebooted so this must be due to propagation, and my impatience

thank u for your help.

Site looks fine here from New Jersey. That’s some nice work! (the art, I mean).

One thing I’d like is to be able to see a bigger picture of the artwork on the apparel - either that or maybe I need to buy a bigger screen!

One thing I noticed for my low traffic sites is that I’m sometimes the last one to get the update. I dunno exactly how DNS propagates but I’ve always blamed the fact that my primary DNS server probably has the old address cached while my friend’s doesn’t because he never visits my site. :-k
