Need a very quick BACKBONE Answer

#1

What kind of Backbone does Dreamhost have? For a dedicated server. Is it a T3, OC 12?? I have a company who wants to get a dedicated server but they need to know if it’s at least this good.

“*****’s data center utilizes a dedicated, 100 Mbit/s non-oversubscribed fiber Internet connection, which offers 65 times the bandwidth of a typical T1 connection in a climate and access controlled data center in the Miracle Mile area of Los Angeles.”

I assure you, this forum is far from “dead”.

The forum isn’t dead (at least, I have trouble keeping up with it sometimes), and it’s worth noting that this probably isn’t the best place to seek “official” responses - there’s no guarantee you’ll receive them unless you contact us directly (most of the people here are other DreamHost customers, some of whom volunteer their time to help others).
