MySQL Tables

#1

I’ve been trying to install Invision Power File Manager on my site, however, the installation fails upon trying to create the tables. The error produced is:

There was an error creating the SQL tables, the error returned was: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'sql, dbhost, dbuser, dbpass, dbname, root_url, root_path, user_space, language) ’ at line 1

The domain is www.mad-science.org, and I suspect that the hyphen in my Host Server (mysql.mad-science.org) is causing these problems. Is that the case, and is there a workaround?

New site? Old script? I bet the problem is the script/program is not MySQL5 compatible. Your hyphen has absolutely no effect.
