hello everyone …
im having a little problem intalling my new guestbook …
it requires me to wirte down the name of MySQL server and it says normally its named ‘localhost’ … i tried it but i still get the no access to mysql server error …
im sure my username from which i logon into the server is correct so is the password … and the input for my database name is also correct … so the only thing left for me to check is the servername … the manual says i should checkup with my webhost if a similar problem occured …

by the way, im using a subdomain so i really dont know if this has to do anything with this ^^! …

waiting for your reply and thank you in advance

The “hostname” is something you specify when you set up your MySQL database in the control panel. For example, when I setup my weblog, I created a hostname of mysql.jessey.net, but it doesn’t have to be like that. Check the Control Panel MySQL page for your hostname.
