My RSS Feed has errors

#1

This error has been on and off for months. When it doesn’t work, I can’t post to my Facebook and Twtter feeds.
The feed validator says it works, but still has errors.

XML Parsing Error: not well-formed
Location: http://themoviewire.com/feed
Line Number 1, Column 83:eval(function(p,a,c,k,e,d){e=function©{return(c<a?’’:e(parseInt(c/a)))+((c=c%a)>35?String.f

The RSS url is http://themoviewire.com/?feed=rss2

just guessing but considering your previous post stating a malware infection and seeing the eval() function there… i’d guess you still have a problem with malware.

Yes. It’s been so long since that post. I really didn’t know where to go from there. Things seemed better, but this error reminds me there’s still a problem.[hr]
The more I think of it, I’m not sure if this is the same issue. The malware no longer appears while visiting the website, but the RSS feed has still been erroring out sporadically. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. The RSS issue might have been occurring before my malware problem. If possibile, I would like to treat the RSS issue separately, but if it stems back to the malware issue that’s fine.

Nope! It is still there. Same JavaScript code appears at the beginning of the index page. You still got something on your user account modifying the output of scripts.

Ok. How do I run the commands suggested by Deamhost Wiki using the Web FTP? I don’t use FTP or SSH.

Are you referring to my wordpress user account, or my dreamhost account? I’m assuming it’s dreamhost.

#6

The wiki says to use SSH. Maybe you, too, should use SSH.

Ok I’ll try that. Thanks for your patience with me. I probably should’ve posted this thread in the beginners section. This is all new to me.
