Assuming this is a technical question, not a policy one, then yes, you can run multiple instances of Wordpress (and even if it's a policy question, the answer is the same). Each one will require a separate installation of WP and separate database tables (you can use a single database if you use a unique table prefix for each; see wp-config.php for details).
If you go this route, you should install each WP instance into its own subdirectory. Having one installed into the site's root will only make things messy.
