Move dreamhost domain to different accnts/servers

Is it possible to change a domain or subdomain to another account, ie a different Dreamhost customer account, such as a friend’s or a clients?

The domain in question is on a different server as well.

Sure is. Support can move it. One caveat is that the destination account must not have used a promo code - or at least that it is currently a full-paying account (last bill ~$120 or w/e it is now per year).
