I was hoping to mount my D.O. storage using Ceph FS. Is that feature planned/impossible/not offered?
I crashed my Ubuntu kernel when I had a go using "mount -t ceph", so I'm not going to try that again
Not possible. DreamObjects does not use the Ceph filesystem internally — it uses the RADOS object layer to store objects.
You may be able to mount DreamObjects as a filesystem, after a fashion, by using a tool such as S3FS.
