Missing emails and no support available


I am missing a selection of emails and have messaged support but have had no response for 2 days, nor can I get the Chat option to work. Has DreamHost stopped providing support or something? I desperately need these emails restored but I can’t get any response. Can anyone suggest what might be going on?


When I had a similar problem a couple of years ago, email support was fairly responsive and helpful. I provided the date range for which I’d lost emails, they found and restored them from a backup and everything was back again within the space of 24 hours.

I’ve always just filed a support ticket through the web site, have you only done live chat?

I am sorry to hear you are having trouble getting in touch with Support, they are definitely available!

Can you clear your browsers cache/cookies and retry accessing LiveChat? You can also try using a different browser altogether or incognito mode. If you have a pop-up blocker enabled, please try disabling that as well.

You should also be able to see/submit tickets to support directly from your DreamHost panel in the Support> Contact Support page here:
