I intend to use mutt for my shell account to read and write mail. The problem is that i live in Europe, so that the time of the mails i send from the shell account get a completely wrong time stamp.
Is there some easy way to fix this?
set TZ to the correct setting for your location (in the appropriate login script for your shell).
e.g.,export TZ=FOO(bash / zsh)setenv TZ FOO(tcsh / csh)
This should set time correctly for pretty much anything you run from the shell.
Thankyou, it worked fine!
I used this reference to find my time zone http://www.ufaq.org/navcom/settz.html
