Ok, I know I’m probably just missing this…but I’ve looked around and can’t seem to find an answer. A good friend of mine bought a domain through Dreamhost for the purpose of starting a blog (WordPress) and I offered to add their domain to my hosting plan since I use very little of my resources. I want to be able to set a limit on how much disk space and bandwidth their site can use though so that I can ensure my account doesn’t get out of hand. Is there a way to do this?
Since the space is “unlimited” there isn’t a way you can set a quota per domain.
What you can do is manually monitor each user’s disk space and send a reminder out when they exceed their quota.
You can check the usage in your panel under “Manage Accounts” https://panel.dreamhost.com/?tree=billing.accounts&
