I’m trying to install the Jam Warehouse KnowledgeTree (http://www.ktdms.com/) open source document management system on my shared hosting account. I installed the application OK, but I’m having trouble configuring the application. I am following the installation instructions available at: http://www.ktdms.com/support/207InstallationInfo/. I am able to get all the way up to the step “Create the database perfor” but I am unable to run the user.sql script. I get the following error message:
mysql> GRANT SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE ON * to email@example.com IDENTIFIED BY "djw9281js’;
ERROR 1044 (42000): Access denied for user ‘dmsfoo’@‘220.127.116.11/255.255.240.0’ to database ‘dmsfoo’
Is this something to do with the fact that I don’t have the correct database rights as a shared hosting customer or something else?
I edited the user.sql file to reflect my personal settings (instead of dms@localhost for example I used firstname.lastname@example.org). A copy of that file can be viewed here: http://www.foofactory.com/user.sql
Thanks in advance for anyone who can help me with this.
