Jquery script not working online

apps

#1

I’ve installed a jquery script into my website, and it works perfectly fine offline. Once it’s uploaded to my Dreamhost account however, it ceases to work, and I’m getting a a 404 Forbidden error on the two .js files.

I’m assuming that this would be a permissions thing, but I THINK I have them set correctly, but I’m not absolutely sure what they should be (I have them all set at 700).

Any thoughts?

Try 755. 700 means only your user can run it, which I think is normally ok, but there might be something on the server end that needs access to it.

JQuery is Javascript — plain text. The file should be set 644, not 755 (or 700).

I am having the same problem, but have no idea where to change the permissions to 644.
