Joomla 2.5 Installs suddenly getting database errors

Some of my recent joomla 2.5 sites are not rendering and spitting out big long error messages. For example: is giving me this:

jtablesession::Store Failed
DB function failed with error number 1054
Unknown column ‘gid’ in ‘field list’ SQL=INSERT INTO dop08_session ( session_id,time,username,gid,guest,client_id ) VALUES ( ‘3omhcahcllongq7om4fhekn6h2’,‘1333746665’,’’,‘0’,‘1’,‘0’ )
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 94371840 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 72 bytes) in /home/xxx/ on line 117

This is happening on more than one site, so I’m guessing it Dreamhost induced. Anyone else experiencing this?

My describe table outputs the following:
session_id varchar(200) NO PRI
client_id tinyint(3) unsigned NO 0
guest tinyint(4) unsigned YES MUL 1
time varchar(14) YES MUL
data mediumtext YES
userid int(11) YES MUL 0
username varchar(150) YES
usertype varchar(50) YES

So no gid column that I can see.

Looks like 2 errors. Did you try to optimse/repair the tables in phpMyAdmin?

I just gave that a try. No luck, however.

Thanks for the suggestion.

OK Solved.

I originally installed the site as a one-click install (v 1.5) and subsequently updated to 2.5. When DH ran auto-update it was expecting a 1.5 site and the update broke it. Luckily the old directory was still present as a backup and all I had to do was rename it. All is well now.
