currently, I have this blurb of code in a php script
$str = shell_exec(‘wget http://lists.evolt.org/archive/Week-of-Mon-20020930/123813.html’);
no matter what I do, $str is always an empty string ("")
I’ve also tried exec() with the second argument specified with an array, but that returns an empty array too
is there anything that I can do to capture the output of wget in php, without resorting to making wget log to a file?
