Issue with Disk Quota. Hemp please

#1

Hi,
we got one domain on dreamhost.
On this site we cache most of our sql-based data on the file system.
We launch the site past week and since this morning whenever you go into the homepage you get these error:

Warning: mkdir() [function.mkdir]: Disk quota exceeded in /home/.seal/seppukoo/classes/class.cache.php on line 49
Warning: mkdir() [function.mkdir]: Disk quota exceeded in /home/.seal/seppukoo/classes/class.cache.php on line 49
Warning: fwrite(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /home/.seal/seppukoo/classes/class.cache.php on line 29
Warning: fclose(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /home/.seal/seppukoo/classes/class.cache.php on line 32

it seems there’s a problem with disk space but we’re under the disq quota…
To cache the data we use a complex system of folder and subfolder…

Anyone knows why we get those errors?

All the best,
G.

All users on our older servers have quotas on both the total size of their files (disk quota) and the total number of files they can create (inode quota), and it looks as though you’ve hit your limit for the latter. If you can rework your site to create fewer files for caching data, that’ll help… otherwise, write in to Support and we can take a look into increasing your inode quota.
