Is this possible? Wordpress mapping + Google Apps for Business


I wish to use Google Apps, but I don’t want to loose my mapping. Unfortunately, I don’t trust that I understand the subtleties in the language used when clicking “Add Hosting”.

If I select Google Hosted, won’t that break my mapping?

If so, is there another way to have my cake and eat it too?

So you are saying that when I pointed my domain name to Wordpress - became my “Hosting” site and that all “features/additions” I want would initiate from there, not here. Correct?

And yes, if you pick Google hosting, you’ll move off :slight_smile: We don’t want that. What you just need is to hook up Google Apps, and that is (generally) done by adding in email:

Also check out for a good tutorial. Once you set up email, then you have access to the rest of the apps.
