IPv6 PTR Record

I am in the process of moving my web apps to the new DHC server. During last night’s run for one of them, I discovered that Google does not see any IPv6 PTR record for the new DHC server. Here is the error message I cam getting:

beau.sanders@gmail.com: host
gmail-smtp-in.l.google.com[2607:f8b0:400d:c0d::1a] said: 550-5.7.1
[2607:f298:5:101d:f816:3eff:fef7:5611] Our system has detected that
550-5.7.1 this message does not meet IPv6 sending guidelines regarding PTR
550-5.7.1 records and authentication. Please review 550-5.7.1

5.7.1 information. u189si12672382qkd.269 - gsmtp (in reply to end of DATA
command)

In the past the ISP’s I have used have managed the PTR records. How does DreamCompute handle this? How can I correct this problem? Our college uses Gmail to communicate with all of our students, so this is an issue for me. In the short term, I have removed the AAAA record for the DHC server for the time being.

Thank again for your help.

Thanks for using DreamCompute. We currently have full support for PTR records on IPv4 addresses, but for IPv6 addresses it isn’t something we can technically support at this time. I would be happy to make sure that your IPv4 PTR record reflects what you want it to if you open a support ticket with the hostname, and IPv4 address you would like it to show.

Where do you want me to complete the support ticket?
