I switched DNS too fast (before migrating). Is there a way to switch back?

Unfortunately, I am too dumb to read so I first switched DNS before following the migration steps as laid out by DreamHost.

What I have done (already):

  • I switched DNS back to my old hosting provider
  • I cleared the server cache and the browser cache

I have a DreamPress service.

Does anyone know, if there’s a way to switch back and then start all new (as laid out on the migration tab of my DreamPress account)?

If the records haven’t propagate already…you should be OK.
You can check the propagation of new records here: https://dnschecker.org/, enter you domain and see if you can different results for different DNS providers.
