Http folder

#1

I’m just curious if anybody could tell me what the “http” folder is for in my account folder. Like, I have my domains, each one occupying one folder, and then there is the “http” folder, which I normally never touch. Should I ever touch it?

#2

I don’t have a ‘http’ folder in my home directory. I see ‘logs’, ‘Maildir’ and a folder corresponding to each of my domains.

Is it possible that you created the folder, or it was created when you extracted an archive?

I believe it was created when I made a subdomain. Perhaps it’s used only for subdomains? Hmm.

Odd, I have sub-domains here and don’t have ‘http’ in my home directory.

Just to verify; You are talking about having a ‘http’ folder in the root of your home directory? The reason I ask is that there are ‘http’ directories a few levels down in the ‘logs’ directory.
