.htaccess & rewritecond

I have a domain with ssl and and ip address. General support (DH) suggested using .htaccess to point the domain to the secure ssl. I did this three days ago, and discovered now I don’t have access to my old stats.

How do I use rewritecond to exclude the stats page when going to my domain? Basically:

www.tsfp.org goes to https://www.tsfp.org but when someone goes to www.tsfp.org/stats/ - it would be excluded and then accessible. Having said that will that mean that all the new stats will still be accessible via https://www.tsfp.org/stats/? Any help would be appreciated.

The fix for CMS’s might work:

RewriteEngine On RewriteBase / RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} ^/(stats|failed_auth\.html).*$ [NC] RewriteRule . - [L]
