How to use .htaccess to parse .html as PHP

I realize this is a perennial question. When I switched to DH a few years ago I was able to solve this issue, but my htaccess no longer works.

I’m currently on “Shared Hosting with PHP 8.0” with FastCGI

My .htaccess file contained
AddHandler php-cgi .php .html .htm .shtml
but this no longer works, nor does anything else I’ve tried, including
AddHandler php8-cgi .php .html .htm .shtml

Anyone have the magical directive? Thanks much!
Jonathan

Phew! Figured it out:
AddHandler fcgid-script .html
FCGIWrapper "/usr/local/dh/cgi-system/php80.cgi" .html

Hope that helps someone.
