How to move WP from subdomain to root dir?

#1

Well, I built a nice working Wordpress site on the subdomain: wp.robstillministries.org

Then I tried to follow the codex directions to move it to the intended domain: robstillministries.org

Of course, I totally screwed it up.

How do I fix this? Don’t understand this instruction:

“If you want to move WordPress to your root directory, make sure all index.php, .htaccess, and other files that might be copied over are backed up and/or moved, and that the root directory is ready for the new WordPress files.”

basically it meant you should have downloaded the files to your own computer just to make sure you had a copy of it. all you had to do was ftp into your account and rename the folder robstillministries.org to something like old.robstillministries.org and then rename wp.robstillministries.org to robstillministries.org and then log into wp admin and update the settings to reflect the new url.
