Your site has a good performance.

You can improve your HTML code. You can use the online tool xxx, to see what you can improve. https://validator.w3.org/nu/

To start and improve your speed you can compress the HTML. An online tool that can help you is: https://validator.w3.org/nu/

Besides compression, setting a high cache duration will improve site performance (but not recommended for forums where the latest posts need to be viewed.)

Try adding these two lines to the top of your .htaccess file.

Header set Cache-Control "max-age=2592000"
AddOutputFilterByType DEFLATE text/html text/css text/plain image/gif text/javascript application/javascript application/x-httpd-fastphp

The first line sets a long duration cache.
The second line compresses various file types commonly used on web pages.

Note: before trying any suggestion, always back-up (make a copy) of the file you’re editing so in case things don’t work, you can revert to the old file.

Understand that Google’s Page Speed will not show a speed improvement from caching since this tool treats every visit as the first visit. So the numbers will not improve… but your ranking will get a boost and your site visitors will benefit, especially return visitors.

You will see an immediate speed improvement at Page Speed from compression.
