How do I make a domain redirect?

I want to make zrpg.net redirect to zrpg.net/forums

How is this accomplished?

  1. Open Panel > Manage Domains

  2. Find [color=#00CC00]zrpg.net[/color] and click [color=#CC0000]Edit[/color].

  3. Scroll down to [color=#0000CC]Redirected[/color] and type in [b]http://zrpg.net/forums/[b]

I had the same problem. When I try to redirect I get the error message:

“Invalid URL: A domain can’t redirect to itself”

As the error message says, you can’t redirect a domain to itself.

I think you are trying to set a sub-directory as your document root directory. You can try to set DH panel --> Domains --> Manage Domains --> Web Hosting --> Edit --> Specify your web directory

By default, it is /home/username/zrpg.net. You can change it to /home/username/zrpg.net/forum

Try creating a .htaccess file in your domain (zrpg.net) folder. Make it a one liner with the following:
Redirect 301 / /forums

I’ve not tried this, but see if that works for you.
