How do I instal TRAC once, and make multiple environments

apps

#1

I am using the Dreamhost Panel to create a number of SVN repositories and at the same time selecting to create associated TRAC projects.

My problem is the multiple TRAC directories in the user root directory that seem to contain identical trac files, as if the TRAC ‘application’ is being installed multiple times and cluttering up my directory structure.
[]why do they have to be in the user root dir ?
[
]Why create multiple copies of what seems like only the application code ?
I have two subdomains for trac and svn:
[]svn.domain.com/projectname
[
]trac.domain.com/projectname
in the trac subdomain directories i see files specific to each project as expected.

What is the best way to achieve the following:
[]Have TRAC ‘application’ files in a subdirectory such as ~/tools/trac11 ? (even if I actually need multiple copies in there)
[
]create multiple trac projects in the trac.domain.com/ ?
I am happy using shell access to do this.

Any advice appreciated
