Our hosted mail forwarding was working fine a week or so ago, and now it is unhappy. I didn't see anything of note last time I checked the status page, and this has been going on for more than a week now.
When I send mail to one of our email accounts, e.g. email@example.com from my home account (which works fine sending everywhere else), I get the following (Note, all asterisks are post-edits to prevent bots):
Reporting-MTA: dns; diehard.dreamhost.com
X-Postfix-Sender: rfc822; b*@zimmer*.net
Arrival-Date: Thu, 14 Apr 2016 11:36:49 -0700 (PDT)
Final-Recipient: rfc822; firstname.lastname@example.org
Diagnostic-Code: X-Postfix; Host or domain name not found. Name service error
for name=mx1.balanced.spunky.mail.dreamhost.com type=A: Host not found
Any advice is appreciated. I searched the forum for info about this error, but the only conversation seemed to be "yea, that mx entry is just fine."
