Help with redirect

wordpress

#1

Please help me. I’m clueless.

I want to get rid of my current index page and replace it with another page on my site, or redirect to that other page. I don’t know which is best.

The page I want to use as the index page is the front page of the WordPress blog. It’s in a separate directory. I’m assuming that moving it from its directory to the root directory and renaming it ‘index’ would screw up the MySQL stuff. Is that right?

How do I do this?

If you want to look, the current index page is http://speakspeak.org. The page I want to make the index page is http://speakspeak.org/speak-blog

Thanks very much in advance for the help.

Amanda, what you want to do is delete any index.php or index.html files in your root directory and create an index.php file with only the following in it (and no blank lines):

MacManX.com
