I just tried your site and was greeted with a “bad_httpd_conf” error.

These errors can sometimes be corrected by going to Domains -> Manage Domains, clicking edit on the relevant domain then clicking Change fully hosted settings now!, without actually changing any settings.

This causes the Apache configuration file to be rebuilt, it doesn’t always solve the above problem, but it is worth a try.

OMG. relax. First off this is like a customer to customer support forum, so we can’t do everything.

next I checked out your site, sometimes you can fix that error (and had you searched the forums you would have discovered this your self). Log into the panel > Domains > Manage Domains. Click edit for your domain, then scroll scroll scroll to the bottom and click to save changes. Even though you didn’t make any chages this will set the httpd.conf file to be updated.

With luck in 15 or 20 min you site will be working again. If not you’ll have to wait for support to get back to you.

PLEASE!!! PLEASE!!! there’s really no need to shout at us.

ouch

Well, the first suggestion would be to remove the offending news item, but this is going to be rather difficult if you can’t access your account.

Do you still have FTP access so that you can remove the offending item?

What did DreamHost say to you?

#9

sorry , right now I cant do anything for it , because the account is disabled…(ftp , mysql ,etc…)

the dreamhost didnt say anything ,I post 2 tickets in the backend

right now it has pasted around 12 hours

#10

They must have said something, otherwise how do you know that this is a DMCA issue?

Did they email you before taking action, perhaps giving you a chance to remove the offending item(s)?

In one of your earlier replies you said:-

So what myself and Mark are trying to find out from you, to try and help you, is; who are the ‘they’ who said one of your news items had DMCA issues. Maybe ‘they’ could remove the item for you.
