Hello,

I’m writing to let you know that your domain dadede.com was getting too
many hits and consequently caused a high load on your server. I set a
restriction on the domain: it can receive 100 requests in 5 seconds, then
denies all connections for 5 seconds when it resets. This is to bring
down the load on your server, but still leave your site operational.

It looks like it’s a video file - please make sure that you don’t host
any copyrighted files without permission from the copyright holder,
against TOS, against the law.
1.rmvb

Let us know if it’s safe to do so, and we’ll be happy to remove the
restriction. You may want to look into setting up hotlink protection:
https://panel.dreamhost.com/index.cgi?tree=goodies.webdav&

Let us know if you have any questions.

Thanks!
Jeff T.

To set up your hotlink protection:

  1. Click on Goodies on the left of your panel.

  2. Click on Htaccess/WebDAV.

  3. Click on your domain

  4. And then click Set up a new directory.

  5. You will be taken to a page where you can edit your link protection. You would probably want to tick the box which has ‘Forbid linking to files in this dir?’.

  6. Confirm by clicking ‘change these settings’.

and that’s it! Hope that helps!
