I recently added support for DreamObjects to HashBackup, a Unix backup program that dedups, compresses, and encrypts backups, and supports rsync, ftp, imap (email), ssh, local, S3, Rackspace Cloudfiles, Google Storage, and now - Dream Objects for storing offsite backups.
While in beta, the backup function of HB expires every quarter. hb upgrade gets the latest version.
Besides dedup and strong encryption, HB also lets you mount your backup as a filesystem and browse through your backup data using regular Unix commands.
I have some beta customers using HB to backup 2-3TB of production data, so it scales very well, but works great for small backups too.
