Well, that’s not what you said - you said
and then I get an “unencountered page”[/quote]
I was pointing out that when you enter “http://www.ferropedia.com/index.php” you don’t get an "unencountered page, you get a page instructing you to setup you wiki.
That said, I understand what you meant: when click/enter/browse to “http://www.ferropedia.com/config/index.php” you get an error message: Not Found
The requested URL /config/index.php was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Further, if you “backtrack” your url, you will see that entering http://www.ferropedia.com/config/ also return a similar 404 error - the fact is that the /home/yourusername/ferropedia.com/config directory either does not exist, or is being “short-circuited” by an re-write rule.
This makes me wonder if your paths were set-up correctly during installation - as I did not see what you enetered, and have not seen your confirming email (with instructions) I don’t know where the problem lies - but I suspect it has to do with your path(s).
Myabe someone who knows more about the MediawWiki “one-click” install process has a better idea of what has happened.
