Gmail filtering

Can someone give me some help with procmail?

I have been attempting to do this double-pass spam filtering with Gmail by following the instructions here:

http://wiki.dreamhost.com/index.php/Double-Pass_Spam_Filtering_with_Gmail

I see from this post…

http://wiki.dreamhost.com/index.php/KB_/_Email#Can_I_use_procmail_to_filter_my_mail.3F

… that if you have a Maildir directory then you should put your .procmailrc and .forward.postfix in Maildir instead of in your home directory.

I followed the directions but I do not see any “X-Forwarded-For:” headers in my emails. So I don’t think it is working.

Anyone have any advice for me?

The .procmailrc and .forward.postfix files should go in your home directory.

I too am having some problems, but I have a hunch as to the root of the issue and I’d like to get some advice to get this working the way I’d like.

I currently have one “admin_user” set up to administer the various domains and websites that I’m hosting. I would like to set up procmail such that it operates on all of the emails under that admin user, however I don’t know if this is possible the way DH has this set up. Is there a way to do this?

If not, what is the cleanest way to have one admin user per domain that will allow the oversite of procmail? If that is not possible…

What do I need to do in order to change a pXXXXXX user into a shell account user so that I don’t have to go recreating users and email addressses and such?
