Full server path (perl)

Need to know the form for full server path for the config files on DH UNIX server.

#############################################

Feedback Directory

This needs the full server path to the feedback dir no trailing slash.

on Windows NT/2000 servers only you need to specify

the drive letter (c:,d:,e:) with the server path example:

$config{‘feeddir’} = ‘c:/your/server/path/cgi-bin/classified/classifieddata/feedback’;

$config{‘feeddir’} = ‘/?/?/mydomain/cgi-bin/classified/classifieddata/feedback’;

Thanks for any help!

It should be:-
/usr/bin/perl

See this wiki entry here http://wiki.dreamhost.com/index.php/Perl for details.

Perhaps I’m reading yoru entry wrong, and Norm has it right. Perhaps it’s the other way round. If you’re looking for the full pahter to your script, and not to perl, that would look something like :
/home/username/domain.com/path/to/file
’/home/username/mydomain.com/cgi-bin/classified/classifieddata/feedback’

Username should be changed out for the user you log into FTP with to access this domain. domain.com needs to be changed out for the folder named after your domain that you place all your files in. Remeber that thigns are CaseSenSitiVe.

I think he has written a cryptic clue for a crossword, and the answer is ‘aardvark’. :slight_smile:

Mattail wins the prize. I finally contacted DH support and the correct answer is;
’/home/username/mydomain.com/cgi-bin/classified/classifieddata/feedback’

Thanks for the help!

Where does your subject of perl fit in? I am intrigued now.
