Last week, before going on vacation I submitted a trouble ticket. A Dreamhost staffer then changed the code on a file without telling me first, and I had to get him to restore from back up because it broke a few things.
Then I went on vacation.
Just got back and I’ve taken this weekend at home to try and do some clean up on some files, but when they restored from backup they left the owner of this file as root root.
It won’t let me overwrite it with the new cleaned up file.
I submitted another trouble ticket for this, but I am extremely limited on time available to do what I need.
Does anyone know if this root root owner is a Dreamhost owner? I am not seeing it in my FTP users.
If so, is there anything I can do about it, or do I have to watch the time tick by whilst I wait for support to deal with it?
