Forwarding a subdomain to an ip with ssl

I already created a custom A record in my hosted domain that forwards to the ip address i want.

My problem is that i dont know how to setup ssl for this subdomain.
There is a login form on that site and i dont want to use it without ssl.

Grab a free Lets Encrypt certificate for it.

You’ll likely need to get the cert directly from Let’s Encrypt.

The Getting Started link I posted contains instructions on obtaining one for yourself that you can use on your non-DreamHost server.
