Error when installing wordpress advanced

#1

Apologies in advance that my first post is a request for help, but if anyone can advise it’d be much appreciated.

I’m trying to install wordpress advanced and am receiving this error message:

"We were unable to set up wordpress as requested at:
http://www.xxxxxx.com/

The problem was directory /home/xxx_xxx/xxxxxx.com is not empty! Please re-install, specifying an empty (or new) directory.

Please correct this and go to our web panel and re-submit your
wordpress installation request."

I’m not sure how to make that directory empty so that I can install wordpress. Anyone able to help?

thanks!

Use WebFTP. It will show any hidden files. It’s in the Panel under Manage Domains for your domain listing.
