I've been running a couple of Pylons/Python web apps, plus developing some new ones, for a year or so now. Generally they been problem free, however, recently I don't seem to get any errors reported to the error.log file when things do go wrong. Normally, an exception in my code will report a stack trace to the error file.
I don't really know which process writes the error file, so I'm not sure where to start looking for the problem.
The error.log file is being updated a little, just not with the same useful material it used to be. I get these messages:
[Fri Nov 28 05:11:59 2008] [error] [client xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx] Premature end of script headers: dispatch.fcgi
(dispatch.fcgi is the file I use to launch my app)
