Emptying mailbox

I received an email to say my mailbox was 91% full. I’ve been in and manually emptied it, but it’s still showing 91% full in the panel. Help, please. What do I do next?

Bcause my mail forwards rather than downloads direct into my client (Thunderbird) I dont seem to be able to set it to delete from the box automatically, but I’ve set it to save mail in the box for only 14 days and not to archive to old mail. Shouild that keep my box clear in future?

The disk usage value in the panel doesn’t update immediately. It should catch up with your changes in a day or two.

That being said, it sounds like you’re doing all the right things! You should be fine.
