Emergency problem with easy solution but big prob

#1

Okay basically, we have the problem:
error id: “bad_httpd_conf”

Now, no need to reply, because I’ve dealt with this problem in the past, and I know how to resolve it, but I need C.Panel access. Now here’s the problem.

My mate is on a long vacation and I have no contact with him, all I have is FTP access. Is there anyway that I can ask DreamHost to rebuild the Apache conf?

This is very important, thank you. Our server is: http://69.163.145.114/

Wat is the domain name that is experiencing this problem (there are many domains on that IP and the error is domain specific, not specific to the server)?

fitnesschan.org is the one experiencing this problem, thanks for your quick response.

No problem! You can still contact support even if you don’t have account control panel access using the contact form at http://dreamhost.com/contact.cgi.

Just use that (leave the “subject” pull down to “Sales Inquiry”), and provide them that domain name, and the info from your first post here, and they should be able to help you.

Okay done, thanks. How long do you think it’ll take them to fix it?

You are welcome. There is no way to tell (it will depend on the queue for support, and the nature of the problem that is causing the condition). Hopefully, it will not be long.
