Email/transfer

Hi All, I tried to transfer a domain, but I forgot the old domain had an old email in its settings. So, now the confirmation email went to the wrong place. Can I re-try the transfer?

You have to wait something like a week between requests, but if you submit a support ticket explaining what happened, they may reset the wait-time for you.

Hi Scott, okay, well I did send a support ticket… so is it a good idea to reset the name servers back again to the orginal ones, just so the site is visible?

Thats what I am unsure of…

You can host the domain at either place without the transfer being an issue. The only difference being that until the domain is transfered you’ll need to make changes to nameservers, etc. by logging into the domain controller at your current registrar rather than within your Panel at Dreamhost.
