Email frustration

I’m having a horrible time with email lately.

I’ve sent about 24 emails today, but the DH system won’t let me send anymore. Apparently I’m “over quota”. I believe the quota is 100, though.

Also, one of my email accounts doesn’t want to send out anything, just receive. The SMTP settings match the POP settings, I’ve tried ports 25 and 587. This is happening from both a Mac and a PC.

anyone have any thoughts?

There are a few reasons why this might have happened:

  1. DreamHost’s quota system may be malfunctioning…
  2. … or set too low.
  3. Your email account may have been compromised.
  4. Bush may have invaded Iran.

Actually, that last one wasn’t a real reason.

The quota is only 100/hr. If this problem continues, then something’s definitely messed up. How 'bout trying it from webmail (webmail.yourdomain.com)?
