Email accounts names with m#######

#1

I seem to recall the DH newsletter announcing that using the m####### stuff would no longer be necessary. But it still seems to assign that to newly created addresses.

Is there any way around that, at least for new addresses? How about old ones?

Thank you!

When you say “no longer necessary”, in what way do you mean? For logging into email accounts via pop or smtp you don’t need to use the m#### login, you can simply use the full email address, ie. username@domain.com

Oh thank you so much! I guess that should have been an obvious thing to try, but it hadn’t occured to me to try the entire address.

I was recreating some email accounts in a couple of Outlook installs, and having to use m#'s wasn’t exactly intuitive. Was hoping there was a way around that.

Thanks again!
