Drupal & CiviCRM on DH

#1

I’m curious if anyone is currently running Drupal 6.X with CiviCRM on the DH Unlimited plan.

Do you have any issues with script execution time or php memory limit?

I’m currently hosted with 1and1 (i do not recommend them at all). I am looking for a new host that can accommodate Drupal and CiviCRM. I don’t have a large site but Drupal and CiviCRM require more php memory limit than 1and1 allows (currenlty only 20M). They refuse to increase it in the slightest and I’ve been a customer with them for quite some time.

So tell me why I should or shouldn’t use DH for my site?

I’m not sure about CiviCRM but you should be fine with Drupal.

DH is quite strict with persistant processes.

But I am sure you will have more than 20M memory to use here. If you go for a VPS, the default memory limit is 150M

90MB? Where did you get that information from?

I’m a bit worried to have such a high memory limit on shared servers.
