Drupal 7 install - page not found

I have uploaded the drupal folder and setup the mysql database. After going to the webpage to do the initial setup, everything went well but I get the error “page not found” when I go to the site.

Details
Hostname: try-drupalsql.mysite.com
Database name: try_drupal
website: mysite.com/trydrupal

I think something in setup.php my be wrong but the information there is same as above.

Any ideas?[hr]
To answer my question, the file …/default/files permission needs to be set to 777

To answer my question, the file …/default/files permission needs to be set to 777

Drupal needs access to your MySql datatbase authentication (usid-passwd). The database user information is stored in the the settings.php file. Did you set up the passwords correctly?
