Dreamhost VPS MySQL

#1

Hi

Does anyone know what the Dreamhost policy is on running persistent processes on one of their VPS (MySQl)? And where to read about that policy?

Thanks

You can run persistent processes on VPS - End of persistent processes policy

Persistent processes in SQL? You might need to clarify what you’re trying to do there.

You can’t log into a PS MySQL, so the point is moot.

If you want a PS you can log into, you’ll need a web PS.

Many thanks for your replies! Of course I should have been much clearer - we want to be able to communicate with the database from external machines using SSL. And yes, we have a Dreamhost VPS.

Many thanks once again.
