Hi all. I’m not new to DreamHost but I have been lucky enough not to require support from them over the last five years. I created a ticket this morning at 8AM EDT but have not yet received a response. I would like to know if this is typical please…

I recently received a response within about 4 hours for a non-critical issue.

i think part of it depends on the status you apply to it. Did you select the severity level that says ‘OMG, I need help now! People are dying’ or something like that? If you didn’t it could take up to a day for just a casual question.
